Like me, Kyle has had a series of episodes dealing with Boeing's troubles in the last year, and he always brings a refreshing and very practical energy to all Quality topics. I start off talking about the FAA report that I discussed here last week; but in the course of the discussion we also cover why Boeing should hire TQA to revamp their training programs, and how to make safety classes matter to people who don't want to be there.

The mainstream media has done such a poor job reporting this fiasco. It was good to hear two professionals do a deep dive and confirm what we all suspected was happening. Privatization of regulatory compliance will not work. The flow of money and power in that relationship is all backwards.
